Together with our project partners - the German Aerospace Center, the office SLU and RWTH Aachen University - we investigated the exciting question of which factors contribute to housing satisfaction in large housing estates and have an impact on the neighborhood image. With this goal, we analyzed four large housing estates and investigated how the estates can be further developed and transformed in a sustainable manner against the backdrop of current urban development challenges. Based on this, we formulated recommendations for action and principles for the client Vonovia and other housing companies.

We had the opportunity to present and discuss the results of the study at a final conference on March 21, 2023, at the Baukunstarchiv NRW in Dortmund.
